I was very nervous when I walked into Dr Metzinger’s office for the first time to consult about blepharoplasty. I was surprised at how comfortable I felt about my decision to have the surgery after I met with him and his staff. Dr Metzinger took the time to listen to what I wanted, and then went over every detail of how it would be achieved. He continues that care and concern long after the initial surgery, scheduling several office visits to make sure that everything is healing and looking as it should. After several consultations with other plastic surgeons in the greater New Orleans area I knew right away when I met with Dr. Metzinger that I wanted him to perform my rhinoplasty surgery. He listened to my concerns and included nurse Rhonda in our first meeting as she would be with him while operating on me. His attention to detail made me feel confident everything would go smooth. I am one month post op and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Dr. Metzinger will tell you that he’s not a miracle worker, but don’t believe him!  He and his staff are at the top of their profession in my opinion. I really have no words for how amazing my experience was with Dr.Metzinger along with his entire team. Not only did prepare me appropriately for everything the procedure was going to require but he was there every step of the way for the recovery process (which was not the easiest for me as a workaholic).    I’m 6 weeks post op for emergency explant surgery after a really bad rupture on the right one.
Dr. Metzinger and his staff were all so kind and comforting throughout the entire process. I am so grateful that I was able to get them safely removed and very happy with the results.
They were 15 year old implants and you’re supposed to have them changed or removed every 10 years.
I was having many symptoms especially with limited breathing as my body was pushing them into my ribs.
Now I can take deep breaths again and can feel my energy coming back.
